With its solid pressed steel construction, working blade lift, realistic engine and free rolling tracks, this dozer pushed its way into the hearts of thousands of children when it was first introduced in the 1950's and continues to do the same with collectors today.
Based on the success of this highly sought after toy, CCM has created a Pipelayer kit to allow collectors the opportunity to make this great toy even better.
Designed to look as though this it could have rolled off the factory line along side the originals, this kit comes with everything needed to make your Doepke D6 into a fully functioning sideboom pipe laying toy.
With a 14 inch long boom and fabricated steel assembly, features include dual hand crank winches with thumb brakes - just like the original Doepke UNIT crane - boom suspension with three-part line, a custom two-part
line load block and brass sheaves. Completing the kit is a solid cast resin "stacked plate" counterweight, complete assembly hardware, rigging and detailed assembly instructions. We have taken care of all
the details to make sure you can have all of the fun.
Only 25 of these absolutely unique conversion kits will be produced. Production kits will come with paint ready black oxide finish for protection. Minor disassembly and the removal of the blade from your D6 (not included)
