The Machine
The Cat
637G Scraper, one of the most productive earth moving machines in use today, is utilized globally in a huge number of high production applications. It's ability to handle the demands of quick loading and high-speed traveling make it an extremely popluar machine. Designed by Cat engineers to load and dump on the run, this machine delivers fast cycle times and high-productivity at the lowest possible cost-per-ton.
Equipped with two engines, a Cat 3408E with 450 hp going to the wheels and a Cat 3306 with 250
hp providing muscle to the scraper, this machine truly makes molehills out of mountains.
With a low-profile scraper-bowl and an overflow guard to reduce resistance to incoming materials, the 637G retains more of its load when in motion. For constant spreading control and minimized carryback material, the Cat Bulldozer Ejection System has been incorporated in the scraper's design.
To ensure timely and accurate response to operator input, the 637G is equipped with the latest in electronics for controls and sensors. In addition, this system minimizes the stress on the machine and also provides the operator with an overall better ride.
