The Machine
Based on the 988 chassis, the 834 wheel dozer was a perfect complement to any earth moving fleet.  Used by itself or in conjunction as a pusher for scrapers the 834 was versatile as well as reliable.

With 400 hp at the flywheel the turbocharged engine and power shift transmission allowed the 834 to achieve top speeds of over 20mph in forward and reverse.  Articulated steering made for nimble handling and a long wheel base meant a smooth and stable ride.  At twenty five feet long and nearly 15 feet tall the 834 weighed an impressive 87,000 pounds.  This wheel dozer was capable of profit-building production on any bulldozing or push-loading jobs where mobility and speed were key.

The Machine
Continuing the line of collectible die-cast is the 834 dozer in 1:48 scale.  As a utility machine that was used in a variety of applications this model will match up perfectly with any of the vintage die-cast released or announced from CCM.

Measuring just under 6” long and sitting 2 3/4” high the 834 is a compliment to the beauty of the yellow iron in the original machine.  Details include rubber tires, articulating blade and blade arms, a detailed operator’s station and complete engine set this model apart from the run of the mill die-cast model.  The models are finished with authentic Caterpillar yellow paint and decals.  All of our models are inspected and approved by Caterpillar prior to production.
